Optimum PT and Sports Medicine (OPT) has been serving Loudoun County since 2008. What began as a solo practice has grown to include a dedicated team of physical therapists and physical therapy assistants. We are committed to continued education and applying the latest knowledge, techniques and technology to our patient care.

Each therapist has their own style and techniques that they bring to patient treatments. Our team is dedicated to working together to help you achieve your treatment goals. 

Our Providers

C. Ashley Border, DPT, OCS

Ashley Border, DPT, OCS, received her Doctor of Physical therapy degree at Marymount University, Arlington, VA, in 2016. She has been practicing primarily in the outpatient orthopedic setting and greatly enjoys working with her patients on a personal level. She believes physical therapy is most effective when the plan of care is tailored to the individual’s goals and heavily incorporates education on body mechanics. Ashley enjoys hiking and hanging out outdoors in her free time.

Vishakha Nabar MS, DPT

Vishakha received her master’s degree from San Francisco State University in 2009 and went on to work in New York City at an outpatient clinic. She also pursued her Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2014 from Touro College of Health Sciences in Manhattan, New York. In her free time, she enjoys playing with her kids one year old son and four year old daughter. She loves traveling, hiking and trying different cuisines with her husband.

Janell Easter, PTA,

Janell has over 19 years of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant in outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation and work hardening/conditioning realms. Janell is a graduate of Allegany College of Maryland with her Associates in Applied Science. Janell has applied her many years of experience in outpatient physical therapy and enjoys working with patients of all ages and abilities. It is her greatest priority to work with patients on their specific goals and provide them with customized treatment to return them to their highest level of function. She enjoys finding a balance with her treatments using a combination of her strong manual therapy skills and exercises to get patients to their final goals. Janell is a Pennsylvania native and an avid Pittsburgh Steeler fan. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her girlfriend, trying out new restaurants/recipes and relaxing at home watching new shows/movies. Janell also enjoys spending time with her family and being a doting Auntie.

Anne Lowery, PTA

Anne graduated from St Petersburg College with a Physical Therapist Assistant Associate in Science Degree in 1991. She has over 30 years of experience as a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant. She has treated patients in several different clinical settings in Florida, North Carolina, California and Virginia. She is well versed and experienced in physical therapy treatments for a variety of acute injuries, post operative and chronic conditions. She has been working for Optimum Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine since 2008. She enjoys hiking , especially above the tree line and cycling.

A. Nicole Meravoglou, PTA,

Nicole brings clinical experience that includes outpatient therapy, acute care, aquatic therapy, and sports medicine. Nicole has numerous certifications in a variety of health and fitness fields that help her provide the best treatment for each individual patient. She is PTA graduate from Blue Ridge and earned a Bachelor of Science from West Virginia University’s School of Medicine with honors. Nicole is a fitness enthusiast and enjoys spending time with her Husky, traveling, and being around the water.
